Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Gangwon FC winger Yang Min-hyeok – but he won't link up with the Premier League side until January.

According to Spurs' website, the 18-year-old has signed a deal with the Premier League outfit until the summer of 2030. However, the South Korea Under-17 international won't link up with the north London outfit until January 2025.

Yang is highly rated in his native country and this season he has scored eight goals and bagged four assists in 25 appearances for Gangwon's first-team. He will remain with the K-League team for the rest of the campaign, with his side currently second in the table, before working alongside compatriot Son Heung-min at Spurs.

The winger played for the South Korean Under-17 side at the AFC U17 Asian Cup and the U17 World Cup in 2023. When he scored his first goal for Gangwon in March, the teenager became the youngest scorer in the division since 2013.
