Dembele flying for PSGLuis Enrique explains red-hot formAdmits Frenchman "surprised" himFollow GOAL on WhatsApp! 🟢📱WHAT HAPPENED?
The France international is in the form of his life after scoring 13 goals for PSG in 2025 alone, with Dembele bagging braces and hat-tricks for fun. Now, manager Luis Enrique has given his take on why the 27-year-old has come good and how he has been taken aback by one part of his game.

He told reporters, via RMC Sport: "What particularly surprises us with Ousmane is his ability to move in the penalty area. He is always where he needs to be, he is then able to receive a ball and score with one touch. We know his qualities very well, his statistics this season are incredible but that is also the charm of being part of a team that manages to coordinate your ideas with those of your teammates.
"We knew Ousmane as a winger but we see that he is really capable of going anywhere and that is completely positive. What is surprising is his constant movement in the penalty area. Where last season we saw him start from the wing, we see him acting more as a number 9, it is something that we all benefit from and that we are all happy with."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Dembele may be one of Barcelona's worst signings at a whopping €135 million (£112m/$139m) but he is finally coming good at PSG. And he could get even better.
