da betcris: Marseille midfielder Joey Barton claims his time at Loftus Road was up even before the end of last season.
da betsul: The 30-year-old moved to Marseille in August, after being given a lengthy suspension for a red card in the 3-2 defeat by Manchester City on the final day of last season.
He has already said he wants to stay with the Ligue 1 club, although claims that a deal is already in place have been denied by the French outfit and QPR owner Tony Fernandes.
He now claims his move to Loftus Road never worked out and it was over long before he was sent off against his old club on the final day of last season.
Barton tweeted: “QPR was over for me way before the Man City incident. I really hope they stay up. I have all season.
“Stay up/go down. Harry stays/goes. I don’t want to be part of it. Marseille is my home now.”
“It was a move for me that just never worked out. I played a part in keeping them up last year,” he added.
“This year, I was banished.
“From the first day of pre-season training [I was] treated like a leper. Some will say deservedly so.”
