da betano casino: It’s been no secret that Arsenal have been interested in signing a new winger this month, but it appears they are set to miss out on a key target on transfer deadline day.
da pixbet: Denis Suarez looks set to move to the Emirates Stadium this month but Emery will not be content until he has signed another winger to add to his ranks.
Reports emerging yesterday strongly linked the Gunners with a move for Yannick Carrasco, who is currently plying his trade in China, and it appears the Belgium international will be their priority today following a report concerning their interest in Ivan Perisic.
Arsenal emerged as a shock contender to seal Perisic’s signature earlier this month, but BBC Sport journalist Simon Stone revealed this morning that Inter Milan are not interested in doing any deal which doesn’t involve a guaranteed fee over a permanent deal.
The news will not arrive as any great surprise to Arsenal supporters but it will understandably evoke feelings of disappointment.
Perisic would almost certainly have been an instant hit in north London, with his dynamism and natural ability to make an impact in and around the penalty area giving the club a fresh dynamic in midfield.
With a potential deal for Perisic looking dead and buried following Stone’s Twitter update, it’s more than likely that Emery will press on with his bid for Yannick Carrasco today in a last-ditch attempt to bring a winger to the Emirates Stadium.
The Daily Telegraph revealed yesterday that Carraso is desperate to move and Dalian Yifang are willing to sanction a loan deal with an option to buy clause, something which Inter were apparently refusing to do in regards to a potential Perisic deal.
Carrasco may well represent a plan B option but it appears to be a case of Carrasco or nothing at this late stage in the window.
