da doce: Celtic won their eighth top flight title in a row on Saturday but fans still want a new manager this summer.
Neil Lennon, having taken over from Brendan Rodgers mid-season following his move to Leicester City in February, steadied the ship and guided the club to the top of the Scottish top-flight.
Saturday’s result, a 3-0 thumping of Aberdeen, took them to 84 points, 12 clear of Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.
The Bhoys’ triumph means that Celtic will be given a guard of honour by the Gers next weekend at Ibrox in their penultimate league fixture of the season.
They will then take on Hearts twice, first rounding off the top flight season and then in the final of the Scottish Cup, as they look to win a treble treble, their third treble in a row.
However, fans have once again expressed serious reservations about the prospect of Lennon being appointed on a permanent basis, despite him guiding the club to another title.
The 47-year-old spent four years at the club between 2010 and 2014, winning two league titles, before his first departure but he has done little to institute genuine change at the club since his return, sticking with a generally rigid style and keeping things as they were when Rodgers was in charge.
And many believe that fresh blood is needed in the dugout if Celtic are to win their ninth title in a row next season. Take a look at the best of the reaction below!
